A Day in Southern Italy: Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento with private guide/driver

We'll visit an artisan's factory where cameos and coral work are still produced as they were hundreds of years ago. Then it's on to a brief stop in the chaotic yet mesmerizing city of Naples, birthplace of the pizza and home to Italy's most striking mix of architectural styles.
Just a short distance from Naples is the eerily well preserved city of Pompeii, covered in lava in 79 A.D. in a sudden and deadly eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. Homes, businesses, inhabitants and even domestic animals were flash frozen in time, a snap shot of a typical ancient Roman town.
We'll enjoy a delicious lunch at a restaurant near the ruins before moving on to the picturesque town of Sorrento perched on the cliffs above the Bay of Naples.
Before returning to Rome, we'll visit another group of Southern Italian artisans at work in an inlaid wood factory.
