We had an amazing time touring Florence and understood so much more due to the great guide we had with Artviva (Brenda). Being a local, she was passionate and knowledgeable about the history and culture of Florence. Definitely a 5/5!

Our tour guide was excellent. He provided a great many historical details about the monuments and building and the way of life in past centuries. He made the city past come alive in a very meaningful way. We could imagine Galileo or Michelangelo walking the same streets. Our 3 hours were over too soon. The guide was from Augtralia, but truly could relate Florence history in a fun way.

My family's ArtViva tours on Dec. 22, 2015 were everything we paid for. Brenda walked us around the city center pointing out the architecture, symbols, statues and great places to eat/hang out. Her in depth description of Michelangelo's David was so interesting, even my teens/young adults listened and remembered. Fantastic! In the afternoon, Hilde was our guide through the Uffizie Galleries. She gave an art history lesson that was forever memorable. Again, the teen/20's kids were listening. We got so much out these private tours. Well worth it!

Great tour, great guide

The tour was excellent. Our guide, Adrianne, was very knowledgeable and able to answer our many questions. She also went above and beyond her duty by helping keep our three-year-old entertained during the lunch so that we could enjoy ourselves without worry.

Wonderful tour, great guide

Our guide Adrianne was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about the sites and was able to answer our many questions. She also helped watch our three-year-old during the lunch when he got bored, so that we could eat and enjoy ourselves.

Absolutely Fantastic!

My husband and I toured the Uffizi today with Claus, and we could not have been more impressed and inspired. His enthusiasm, knowledge and sense of humor made this tour and absolute joy! If you offer an Uffizi Part 2, we'll be first in line! Thank you, Claus! We could have stayed with you for an entire day - or a week for that matter!

By far one of my favorite things we did. They bike ride was fantastic, the views were breathtaking (or maybe the other way around, lol), and the tour guide, Ella, was my favorite. I highly recommend this tour for people who want to see more, move around a bit, and try some very yummy wine and olive oil.

On this super small-group Tuscany tour, taste award-winning Tuscany wines at two famous historical wineries owned by noble families in the heart of Chianti.

Truly enjoy some of the most splendid sights and traditional tastes of Tuscany's famous wine country. Be guided through the stunning historic wine and olive oil cellars by the estates' wine experts, taste award-winning fine wines and traditional delicious Tuscan cheese and bread.

The stunning and historic Tuscan Villas on the estates are the homes of two of Italy's most noble and important families. From the cypress-lined drives, see the majestic, Renaissance styling of the Villas back-dropped by the picturesque Tuscan hillside. See a classical Italian garden and cypress-lined park on the estate, which imbue the property with an elegance that exalts its Tuscan countryside surrounds. Stroll through lovely Italian gardens offering beautiful views over the Tuscan countryside.

The first Tuscany Villa estate, situated within the Chianti wine zone, features a vineyard adorned by near 50 hectares of vines, the grapes from which are skillfully turned into award-wining Chianti Classico wines. Here you will see where the estate traditionally stored the olive oil in the 'Orciaia', which is one of the most historic in the world. Olive trees bear fruit in the on-site olive grove, covering some 80 hectares, before being hand-collected and then cold-pressed into Tuscany's famous 'liquid gold', extra virgin olive oil. Whilst visiting this Tuscan villa estate, you will be invited to tour the winery with the estate's own wine expert, before having a wine tasting of 3 estate wines including a Chianti Classico, accompanied by traditional Tuscan bread and cheese to allow you to truly savour the traditional tastes of Tuscany.

The second Tuscan Villa estate is home to the noble family who lives there to this today. The estate is comprised of hectares of vineyards, olive groves, pastures and woodland. On this second guided wine tasting, you will taste the estate's top-quality wines internationally recognised and enjoyed for their greatness.

Highlights of the Taste of Tuscany - wines of nobility tour include:

  • Visit two historic Tuscan Villa estates

  • Guided tour of stunning historic wine and olive oil cellars
  • Walk through the Italianate gardens
