The run-down of the My Exclusive Taste of Tuscany - wines of nobility tour:

The stunning and historic Tuscan Villas on the estates you will be visiting on this private Tuscany wine tour are the homes of two of Italy's most noble and important families.

From the cypress-lined drives, see the majestic, Renaissance styling of the Villas back-dropped by the picturesque Tuscan hillside. See a classical Italian garden and cypress-lined park on the Tuscan Villa estate, which imbue the property with an elegance that exalts its Tuscan countryside surrounds.

The first Tuscany Villa estate, situated within the Chianti wine zone, features a vineyard adorned by near 50 hectares of vines, the grapes from which are skillfully turned into award-wining Chianti Classico wines. Here you will see where the estate traditionally stored the olive oil in the 'Orciaia', which is one of the most historic in the world. Olive trees bear fruit in the on-site olive grove, covering some 80 hectares, before being hand-collected and then cold-pressed into Tuscany's famous 'liquid gold', extra virgin olive oil. Whilst visiting this Tuscan Villa estate, you will be invited to tour the winery with the estate's own wine expert, before having a wine tasting of 3 estate wines including a Chianti Classico wine tasting, as well as tasting 2 extra-virgin olive oil varieties accompanied by traditional Tuscan bread and cheese, to allow you to truly savour the traditional tastes of Tuscany.

The second Tuscany Villa estate has been owned by the same nobile Tuscan family since the mid-1500s. Comprising over 200 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, pastures and woodland, the estate has been producing top-quality wines (including one Vin Santo dessert wine that is perfectly paired with dried fruits), as well as extra virgin olive oil made here for hundreds of years. These traditional tastes of Tuscany are internationally recognised for their greatness, as you will discover during your private guided wine tasting at this Tuscan Villa estate!

The finer details of the My Exclusive Taste of Tuscany - wines of nobility tour:

Included in tour price: English-speaking private tour guide, private transportation from Florence, a walk through olive groves, guided visit of two estate wineries and an orciaia (olive oil cellar) and olive mill, wine tasting of a total of 5 estate wines (including one Vin Santo dessert wine paired with dried fruits) and tasting of 2 extra virgin olive oils including bread and cheese, stunning Tuscan views, and great company!

Kane was an excellent guide with a good sense of humor. He is very competent, enthusiastic, and a great story teller. I learnt a great deal from him about the city of Florence. He really made my short stay in Florence that much more enjoyable. Thank you Kane!

Kane was a fabulous guide! He had an extensive knowledge of relevant historical fact and made the history of Florence come alive. It really helped having a native English speaking guide as we found other guides who had English as their second language were often difficult to understand. Thank you Kane!

EXCELLENT VENICE TOURS

The 4 Venice tours, Venice in one Glorious Day, are outstanding. We did 2 on Mon 5/12 and 2 on Wed 5/14. Jen was our fantastic guide for 2 of them. I don't remember the names of the other 2 Italian ladies, but they were also excellent & easy to understand.

Venice in one glorious day!!!! Having heard from a friend that a visit to Venice could be a challenge as far as visiting the highlights is concerned, we decided to scour the internet for a suitable guided tour. Skipping the line was imperitive for us. Two ladies with 3 adolescent sons,a challenge in itself. We chose to "do" Venice in one day so that we could be free to return to places of interest with enough knowledge to recognise and be sure of not missing the most important sights. Skipping the line to enter the San Marco Basilica was absolutely a highlight. Thousands of visitors stood in the pouring rain in order to get a glimpse of this magnificent masterpiece. Our guide Christina was absolutely professional and was able to keep our teenage sons more than interested. It was also very much appreciated by us that Art Viva gave us a call the day previous to our tour that bad weather was expected and offered us to postpone the gondola trip.

Awesome and highly recommended!

I used the Art Viva services while in Florence for two tours, The Uffizi Gallery and the Academia Gallery. Because I went in a low season I was the only client and the company still went through with the service, thank you! I had the best tour guild that I could ever hope for! Her name was Elizabeth. She was knowledgeable, fun to be with, very well informed and broke down the pieces and art history in a way that was artful in and of itself. I give the tour service and specifically Elizabeth a 100% A+ and recommend this group all the way. I had a great experience, thank you so much!!

Great tour, Stefan was the best

If you are going to Florence this tour is a must, Volterra is amazing "town in the clouds", and without all the tourists. Stefan made the tour absolutely fantastic and it was the highlight of our holidays.

Inspiring and Fun!

We did the Florence in One Glorious Day. Worth every moment. Klaus entertained, inspired and excited us with his knowledge, delivery and communication. He gave us 'big picture' history and 'little picture' stories, putting humanity into the architecture. Just excellent. Liz helped us enjoy the Uffizi and Accademia with her art knowledge and insight. Both great tour guides. Next time, we'll be back!
