We take the quality of our tours and guides very seriously. Innovative once again, we are the first company in Italy to ensure high quality tours (in Florence) with our own in-house specially trained art historians and historians. No other company works like this in Italy on a daily public basis- we go to the extra trouble to ensure high quality tours and to ensure that our guides really do speak perfect English and have a great sense of humour.
Our in-house guides have undergone a rigorous training with our specially designed tours and with an attention to detail that has enabled our company to achieve an international reputation for the best tours in Italy.
All the guides we work with are passionate about their love of Italy and all things Italian.
They're friendly, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Our guides hail from all walks of life: art historians, historians, chefs, artists, photographers, journalists, sommeliers, wine makers and actors.
On each tour our guides will ensure you have a great time.
Our carefully designed innovative tours ensure a very special experience and allow time for our guides to give you personal attention for what ever questions you may have whether recommending a wonderful local trattoria for dinner or lunch or giving you insider secrets on preparing that perfect Italian dish or telling you the best place to pick a special gift.
Our guides are there to help you make it up that hill or explain the intricacies of a world renowned masterpiece, and what's more that will make you feel they are absolutely delighted to do so.

The entire staff of Artviva are friendly, knowledgeable and capable of providing a sense of YOU being the most important person! Some of our fondest memories of several "lazy" days in Florence were exploring the city with "friends": one day A Perfect Morning in Tuscany; another hot day, a late afternoon at the Uffizzi, and a spur of the moment evening stroll culminating with wine and conversation among five former strangers.
Each tour leader was excellent (the athletic, outdoorsy young woman hiking the trail to daVinci's flight training cliff and the private villa, the tall blonde man leading the Uffizzi tour who towered over everyone and had excellent audio equipment so we could wander about and not lose sound or sight of him, the local young man who shared his love of the city and its history)
On previous trips we've used this company to explore Cinque Terra which was also a wonderful experience!
