Photos are lasting memories that you will keep forever. Let us arrange for an excellent photographer who will take photographs around Florence or in the beautiful Tuscan Countryside and of course during your ceremony and reception. Several packages are available from full services including beautiful Italian leather albums to simpler services. We may also arrange for a professional Video to be taken. Packages are based on the number of hours and photos included. For smaller packages, the photographer will meet you just before the ceremony, while when you choose packages with longer hours he may meet you at your hotel to take some "getting ready" photos. He will shoot during the ceremony and after (while your guests have moved onto the reception cocktail hour) the photographer will spend approx. 20 -30 minutes with the bride and groom alone to do special photos of the couple. This will be followed by family and group shots at the reception during cocktails. Once you are seated at dinner, few pictures are taken, as people eating are not pretty shots. The majority of the photos are taken up until dinner. At this point, some candids are taken to remember the atmosphere of the wedding until the cutting of the cake - the last formal shot (note only in packages starting with photojournalism). We also recommend video especially if you have dancing as it is filmed much better than photographed. We ask that you please specify your expectations if they are not included here to avoid any misunderstandings.
Common photos taken (of course depends on type of wedding and package chosen) Pictures at Hotels • preparing for wedding • Bride with attendants and family
At the Ceremony • Groom with attendants and family (prior) • Bride by car with father • Outside and inside venue • Bride and maids walking down aisle • exchanging rings • signing the register • readers • with celebrant • coming back down aisle
Groups • Bride and groom with attendants • Bride and groom with parents • Brides family groups • Grooms family groups • Friends
At reception: • Wedding cake • location (indoor and outdoor) • Informal of guests mingling at cocktail and dinner • Dancing
Color, Sepia tone, extra contrast and black and white are the various mediums that the photographer uses. Sepia tone is created by black and white film on color paper - so the same shot may be printed either way. Extra contrast is a more complicated set-up and thus has an additional cost. The photographer will mainly shoot in color - please specify if you would like otherwise.
For large weddings - a second photographer is recommended.
The Album - the photographer will place the best photos in the album – he knows which ones you are most likely to choose as they are the best ones that cover all of the important moments of the wedding day. The proofs do not do the photos justice and the photographer knows which ones look the best enlarged. He will still send you all of the proofs and you can always order photos he did not include and add them in.
Album upgrades: A basic but lovely Florentine leather album is included in many of the packages - for handmade leather albums, please visit the photographers office to see if you are interested in upgrading your album to some one-of-a-kind leather work.
