Description:

This very beautiful complex contains not just the Medici chapel but also a mausoleum begun in 1605 and the New Sacristy, designed by Michelangelo.  The chapels are not so much a museum as they are an homage to the talent and ingenuity of the architecture and sculpture of the 15^th and 16^th centuries.
