For those who enjoy self-catering in luxurious accommodations, two apartments are available in the characteristic San Niccolò area of the Oltrarno. Charmingly furnished using antiques combined with excellent quality modern furniture, both apartments are available for short or long stays, making these good choices even for the professionals who come to Florence for business purposes. The flats can accommodate 4 or five people very comfortably as there are two bathrooms in each apartment.

Both apartments have satellite TV, stereo, computer, internet, printer, telephone, dishwasher, and oven. The yellow apartments also has a VCR, fax, and treadmill. Each apartment has access to a lovely garden, the barbecue, and the laundry room in the garden. For larger groups, the two flats can be rented together as they are also connected by an internal staircase. A weekly cleaning is included in the price and also a transfer from the train station or airport to the house. Cooking courses, extra maid service, laundry service, events bookings, car and bike rentals, and babysitting can be arranged for a cost.

The neighbourhood of San Niccolò is a lively, trendy area, directly across the river from the historic center of Florence and therefore only a 5 minute walk away. The elegant building that houses the two flats is on a quiet street only a 1 minute downhill walk to the restaurants and busy caffès. The beautiful and panoramic Michelangelo Square and Belvedere Fort are near this area, and so is the Ponte Vecchio with its many jewelry shops and the Uffizi Gallery.

The Erta Canina apartments are about 15 minutes by car or taxi from the central train station of Santa Maria Novella. The Florence airport is about 25 minutes away and the Pisa airport about 1 hour. The apartments are reached easily from the "Firenze Sud" exit of the highway.
