Contemporary Mediteranean Cuisine restaurant in Florence Italy
Massimo Brazzini recently opened Tre Merli a modern style trattoria focused on Mediterranean cuisine. Highlights are the wines and olive oils produced on his family estate near San Gimignano and owned by the family for the last 120 years. There is a seasonal menu where fresh game is also presented.
Cuisine - Contemporary Mediterranean, focusing on seasonal produce including game.
Ambience Lunch - Simple, bright and colourful, street-side outdoor eating in warmer months.
Ambience Dinner - Modern sophisticated candle light.
Wine list - Focus on family’s own estate near San Gimignano.

A favourite Tre Merli recipe:
Linguine with fresh tuna, muscles, and mushrooms
Stir fry some garlic and muscles with parsley until
the muscles open. Add the tuna in small pieces and
add a splash of dry white wine. When the wine
has evaporated, add cherry tomatoes and mushrooms.
Continue stirring for a few minutes. Serve on linguine adding
a bit of extra virgin olive oil.
