News Flash: See our exciting new ART VIVA EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCES PROGRAM

Summer has arrived and as a result, warm sunny days are brightening up the damp skies of April. The true colours of Italy, and in particular Tuscany, are now making their appearance. In just a few weeks, the rolling hillsides dotted with cypress trees and sunflowers will provide a striking contrast to the bright blue and cloudless skies native to this region. The best way to experience the early summer flowers, the intense blue sky and the warm countryside air is a visit to the hills!

The warmer months not only bring great weather, but also an increase in outdoor events, concerts, exhibitions and visitors! You can also enjoy some of Italy’s best food during the first part of the summer; visually while you visit one of Florence’s many markets or through its flavours at one of the many outdoor tables at local restaurants and cafés.  New fresh fruits and vegetables are now available and are a wonderful change from the winter selections. Now, we can rediscover with enthusiasm and enjoy the familiar tastes and textures that we lost over the last few months!

In this edition of our newsletter, we have included some fascinating titbits about the most famous Italian cheese, where to find beautiful hand made stationary products and a detailed review about our Bike Tuscany restaurant. Even after your cycling ride you can enjoy spectacular views of the countryside from your table!  Also, find out more about the special events that take place in June in Florence in celebration of the city’s patron saint in additional to the local goings-on in Rome and Venice.

We are also proud to introduce the first artist exhibiting in our special Art Gallery Space-Rick Everingham. Click here to see his images of the exhibition and more information on the artist.

Buon viaggio!
