One of Florence’s newest and most exclusive hot spots is hidden away next to a delightful boutique hotel in the middle of the historic centre. JK Place, one of the cities most fashionable art hotels, boasts just a few rooms individually designed by modern architect Michele Bonan. In addition to the fabulous decorating and use of simple, classic lines the JK Place offers its guests and clients wonderful culinary adventures.

The Lounge

Eating at a hotel usually conjures up images of reheated, mass produced food. The Lounge is anything but that. This private almost club-like restaurant infuses a wonderful European flair into its Tuscan foundations. Chef Massimo Bocus creates his dishes so that clients can leave the table full, but not weighed–down by heavy foods. The Lounge prides itself on utilizing only the freshest ingredients employing traditional Tuscan products in order to support local suppliers for his fresh pastas, produce and local cheeses. His meats come from the famous lyrical butcher in Panzano and his pastas from the Sienese agricultural consortium in operation since 1893. The restaurant is arranged in an intimate, almost private setting and the use of lighting and classic architecture serve to enhance the exclusive atmosphere.

We have created, together with Chef Massimo Bocus, a wonderful tasting menu that we are pleased to offer as our Delicious Dinner Tour. The menu changes every few months to take advantage of the freshest seasonal offerings.
